Online Safety Code for Dating Services

The Meet Group, Inc. (TMG, which operates the following platforms: MeetMe, Skout, Tagged and Growlr) is proud to participate in the Online Safety Code for dating services (Code), a voluntary and collaborative industry code of practice which is designed to reduce the risk of online enabled harm to dating service users in Australia. TMG currently has a Tier 2 Code rating. We are fully committed to adhering to the principles outlined in this Code, ensuring transparency and ease of reporting. By complying with the Code, TMG aims to help keep our community safe and prosperous for all members.

We have an easy-to-use reporting mechanism of any instances of online enabled harm by other members that violate TMG’s Terms of Service, including but not limited to, instances of harassment, assault, sexual abuse, criminal or sex offender records, and threats against our members or others. If you would like to report a violation by a TMG member, you can now submit your report as follows:

Process for reporting a member on the Tagged mobile app

  1. Tap the”…” in the upper right corner of the member’s profile
  2. Select the appropriate report category
  3. Provide supporting details
  4. Tap “Send” in the upper right corner 
  5. Report is queued up for review by a moderator 

Process for reporting a member on the Tagged website

  1. Click the “Report Abuse” button on the left side of the member’s profile
  2. Select the appropriate report category
  3. Indicate where the behavior that led to the report was observed
  4. Provide supporting details
  5. Click “submit”
  6. Report is queued up for review by a moderator, and reporting member is proactively given the option to block the reported member

Process for reporting a Live Video streamer

  1. While viewing a live stream, tap”!” icon at top of screen
  2. Select appropriate report category
  3. Add supporting details or attachments
  4. Tap “Submit Report”
  5. Reported user is added to the reporting user’s block list, and the report is queued up for review by a moderator 

Process for reporting a Live Video commenter

  1. While viewing a live stream, tap commenter’s display name to view mini-profile
  2. Tap “Report” button in upper left corner
  3. Report is queued up for review by a moderator 

Our team will carefully and promptly review each report and take appropriate action to keep our platform safe. To the extent possible, we will notify you of the action(s) we take in response to your report.
